*If you’ve never taken a private hoop lesson with Cyrena A Lang I highly encourage it! I started hooping in August and had yet to feel comfortable just letting go and flowing with my hoop with out feeling awkward or embarrassed if people were watching. After just one hour with her yesterday, I have a whole new practice. I just got back from my apartment gym where I hooped for almost 2.5 hours with wireless headphones on and not a single F was given that there were men working out in the same room! 🤣 My smile is a big as my face! Hope this can help inspire anyone whose feeling stuck! Happy new year and happy hooping to all 🙂💜⭕️

*Hooping is an intense workout that you don’t even realize you’re getting; I find it can energize you when you’re feeling zapped, and on the other hand it can also burn off that extra energy or melt away anxiety if you’re feeling spaz, in other words hoop can help stabilize your mood and in a class or hoop jam setting it can even pull you out of a funk with all the laughing and positive energy in the air. It’s also a great way to make friends, especially if you tend to be an introvert by being around the same set of people each week all sharing in the same challenges and successes. Perhaps my favorite thing about hooping, is that I love how Cyrena’s class has given my husband and I something fun and challenging to work on together. <

*Probably one of the most comfortable classes I have ever taken. What a wonderful atmosphere and a wonderful teacher. The students were very welcoming of me and super helpful. We went in a circle and introduced everyone. I felt so welcomed and such a warm feeling for the class I was about to partake in. I could never keep a hoop around my waste for the life of me before. It was like I felt so comfortable that I let go of my fears and poof! I was able to hula hoop! She went step by step with all the tricks she introduced to us and never was it overwhelming. She went one by one and helped us and always asked if we had any questions. She showed that she too had flaws and some things took a lot longer to learn for her. Making me feel comfortable knowing nobody is perfect and I’m in a judge free environment. She is so positive and a great instructor! Need more people like that gal on this planet! Super excited to join her class on Saturday morning! Defiantly will be recommending her to some friends!

*Hooping found me! 😉 Seriously, it’s the one thing that I keep coming back to. Finding new people to inspire and be inspired by ensures it never grows old. ♥

*Hooping has helped me overcome depression of 12 years, helped me truly love myself, and learn how to cope with life’s hardships. It has introduced me to the most beautiful, creative, and challenging people I’ve ever encompassed. I am beyond grateful for this plastic circle.

*Hooping and the people I have met through it, has opened my soul to a whole new perspective on life, given me a new sense of self and all the things I am capable of.

*I have only been hooping for four days and it had already pushed me to step out of my comfort zone and find my inner confidence 🙂 I’m an anxious person, but hooping outside calmed me. I actually did it in front of people! I love it already!

*I have had a pretty harmful childhood and been in abusive relationships. I suffer from anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress, panic attacks and severe depression. I did not get much encouragement as child so have very low self-esteem. I was introduced to the hula hoop by my youngest daughter who has suffered as I. The hula hoop has increase my self-esteem given me more self-love besides my faith in God. I love how it makes me feel about myself and the world around me. It has introduced me to a whole new set of friends and activity. I can’t thank the hooping community more for accepting me and my major imperfections. I have gotten so much support from strangers who are now friends! Thank you.
